Dragonfly Beach Hut transports you to our Secret Garden Room with a View, full to the brim with Beautiful Blooms.
Location, Location, Location in prime position Dragonfly is a true blooming beauty sitting pretty right on the beach front.
A sugar candy palette of pinks and blues with cottage garden flora & fauna will delight young and old.
Relax and enter a dreamy state of mind with our Dragonfly themed soft furnishings ~ at every turn you will be immersed into a bijou space encouraging you to be at one with nature ~ the lapping waves a welcome sound guaranteed to offer a day full of mindfulness.
A cute mix of literature entices you to flick the pages to engage your mind together with a small collection of games for when you feel the urge to be more alert and not forgetting the quintessential beach games, all keep you entertained when you wake from your slumber.
Once you turn the key and step into our Secret Garden you will immediately cast your eye onto our Wow Wall of colour, feathers and window boxes full of blooms, surrounding our stunning 1920s inspired bevelled sunshine mirror.
There is a gas stove (canister provided) to enable you to make your fancy brew in the vintage art deco cups. There's a fresh drinking water tap to the side of the neighbouring beach hut and during the winter months you will find bottled water supplied for your convenience.
We ask that all guests leave the beach hut as they found it. The huts are sanitized after each guest by a covid registered cleaner, so you can rest assured, cleanliness prevails in our little seaside haven.

Free parking is available up Woodberry Way but be early at weekends & scorchio days
Pay to park is available at the station car park or alternatively the town centre
You can access the beach huts on Southcliff from the top by Woodberry Way at various points
Or head towards the pier and take the right turn to walk along the prom by all the beach huts
Take a stroll round in the direction of Frinton - you will pass the Pier Kiosk and further on delicious treats from May's Boardwalk Cafe. You are almost there!
Just before the big slope onto the sweeping sands you will find the first set of raised up beach huts
Dragonfly will be sitting pretty at No. 44.

If you fancy a longer stroll - you can walk all the way round the huts to Frinton ~ grab an ice-cream and head back again.
Our beach is pooch friendly all year round!
